There has been a lot on controversy about this transfer and from my prospective I see why Everton fans can feel a bit mad but on the other hand it’s his decision at the end of the day.

Danjuma was a target for a few prem clubs and after a year in Spain he wasn’t getting munch game time mainly coming on for a few cameo appearances in the league and mainly playing in the conference league. That lead to him wanting a move away on loan to get game time.

He spoke to a few premier league clubs including Crystal Palace but he chose Everton. They were going through a crisis behind close doors after losing again they sacked their manager Frank Lampard and were looking for replacements.

The Danjuma transfer was almost done contracts were signed and they even had media filmed for him but then disaster struck, as he refused to send his registration form to the fa so the transfer couldn’t go through.

Then in a dramatic turn of events Spurs came in to try and hijack the deal. Then soon he was off to London for a medical with the London side successfully hijacking the deal and purchasing him on loan for the season.

It seems like a strange decision as he will have a lot of competition and he wanted to go on loan for some game time which is gonna come hard with spurs having an exciting array of talent upfront. They have the likes of Kane , Son , Richarlison and Kuluvseski already to name a few whereas if he signed for Everton he would’ve been a nailed on starter.

It’s been a horrid week for Everton and it doesn’t get any better as their next game is against top of the league Arsenal. It will be a hard task as they are in blistering form and will be hard to stop which will not be good as Everton are joint bottom and with them being there the points are gonna have to come fast or they will be at risk of going down to the championship.
