This is one of the biggest games of the season, with both teams looking for three points. I think whoever wins this game wins the league, as it gives either team an advantage in the title race.
They both go into the game with not the best form as Arsenal have not won their last 2 games, with Manchester City winning their last game but losing the game before to their bogey team Tottenham Hotspur.
Arsenal will want to do this without Thomas Partey, who won’t be playing as he’s injured, while Manchester City are without one of their best players in John Stones, who picked up an injury in their FA Cup win against the same opponents.
This game could go either way, as both sides have bundles of talent, with Manchester City having the more experienced players out of the two teams, giving them the edge in that area of the field. Arsenal bring home the advantage though, and with their good record at the Emirates, that could do them good in this game.
Pep has changed the team up recently, using the depth he has to his advantage. Arteta, however, has stuck with his team, but we might see some changes as his Arsenal side hasn’t been performing to the best of their ability recently.
My prediction is a 1-1 draw as both sides will be focused on winning, leaving them short at the back. A draw does nothing to either side, though, as they both need the points to boost their title chances.
Overall, it’s expected to be one of the best games of the season, so hopefully it will live up to expectations and be a good game with both teams going for it as they need the points to boost their title chances come the end of the season.
