Gustav Isaksen is a highly rated Danish winger who plays for Midtjylland in the Danish Superliga, and he is one of the hottest prospects in Danish football, scoring seven goals in 17 matches for his club.

He’s in fine form at the moment, recently scoring a hatrick in a 4-0 win against Viborg, and he has caught the eye of some people as he’s having a breakout season, and with him only being 21, he has a good future ahead of him with a possible move to a top team.

Gustav Isaksen is a very versatile player and likes to play on the right wing, where he likes to cut inside and uses his left foot to create chances. His strengths are his dribbling and speed, which cause problems for defenders as he uses them to his advantage when playing.

His only main flaw is his end product, which needs work, but if he can get that worked on, I’m sure he will be snapped up by a massive club soon and we will see him flourish into an amazing player for club and country and possibly lead the young era of Danish football coming through.

If teams need a right winger in the summer, he could be the one, as his creative play could unlock defences as shown on his fbref; his take-ons are positive, as are his touches, which is good to have as a winger as he could be the key to unlocking defences for a team that signs him.

His pass completion isn’t the greatest, but I’m sure he will improve that in time, but overall he is a player to look out for. If he keeps his fine form up, a lot of clubs will definitely be sniffing around him, and he could possibly become a class player in the future.
